As an artist, it is my mission to…
bring art into this world using the body as a vehicle for sharing stories, perspectives, and emotions that help keep us human. Within this pursuit, I aim to make dance/movement a more inclusive, commonplace, and accessible practice in everyday society. Specifically, using the artform to encourage well-being, self-expression, and community building.
Other goals include…
- To create a supportive environment for Queer and Neurodiverse identities.
- To provide opportunities for dancers not currently employed by dance companies to bridge training/performance gaps and create more outlets for dance in the community.
- Helping to promote access and exposure to the arts in rural communities.
- Not competing with other area artists/arts organizations, but rather working together as a collective force.
